I took my family on a 5 night Bermuda Cruise Sept 29th out of Bayonne, NJ. We live very close to the Baltimore Harbor but chose to drive because the ship had many more bells and whistles than the smaller ship out of Baltimore. Getting on and off the boat was very easy.

The Anthem of the Seas is just awesome. The I-Fly, Flow-Rider, Escape Room, Bumper Cars, NorthStar all very cool. All these structures are built in the boat. Our room was huge (you don't say that allot on a cruise ship) and was kept very clean. We had an extra large balcony cabin on the 7th floor more or less mid-ship. All the staff that we ever came in contact with including all the customer service people were outstanding.

So why just the average review? All the food was basically the same in all the main restaurants and was all just ok. Even the main restaurant Jamie's Italian was just average. The Lamb happened to be very good but the apps and dessert fell below expectations. Chops was great from start to finish but that was a paid restaurant. If the other meals the best thing that you can say is the french onion Soup was the best thing we had all week, what does that say for the food. Windjammer had all the same food and if you didn't want to wait in a long line for an omelette, you were hoping for an early lunch.

Cabin 1C

The cabin was huge. We actually didn't have enough clothes for all the compartments.
