We took a celebrity cruise in 2017 and were very disappointed in the ship but we tried them one more time. This time we took the eclipse. It was a totally different experience. I have been on several solstice class ships before and loved them. This one was no different. The ship was beautiful, the staff was was wonderful and super captain Leo saved the day when a storm almost caused us to miss santorini. He even worked with the Greek navy to make room for our ship to dock on a different day and switched our date for Rhodes so we could go to all the ports originally scheduled. Most captains would have just added a sea day instead of going through all that effort.

The only disappointment was that the fish in the dining room always seemed to be overlooked. My husband, who likes “well done”seafood said it was always dry. And the chicken in the buffet also seemed dry too. My meals were always wonderful.

I have another cruise scheduled on the eclipse and I know it will be fabulous.
