Thought we could see some fall colors along the St Lawrence. That just does not happen, as you cruise too far from shore. Once we got to the Nova Scotia coast area, the trees were all still green, and the skies were gray.
Our biggest complaints however are the food, and public area layouts.
The food, with a couple exceptions, was just a step above a Denny's. In the main buffet the food was nearly not eatable (think Days Inn Breakfast) and the two big main supper dining areas, the cuisine simply lacked the quality, and the taste of similar restaurants on other ships we have been on.
The specialty restaurants are all squeezed into odd spaces, and, with the exception of the teppanyakki restaurant, lack any character. Ditto most of the lounges. And There really is no good pleasant spot to simple sit and read a book.
By far the best feature of the ship physically is the atrium. Nicely laid out, with a sprinkling of pretty good entertainers. Jose and Patti were great.
The service staff on the boat overall were good, and in a few cases exceptional.
Because of the weather, the bars on the top decks, and the pool were pretty unusable.
This ship needs to be relegated to four day cruises in the the Caribbean, serving lots of booze, and sun. No one will care then about the mediocre food, or so so entertainment.
Our suite was nice, and well appointed. Great shower.
