First time on Anthem doing the Cruise from New York through New England (in the fall).

The Cruise was a package through Iglu, two days in Niagara, two days in New York, then join the Ship for a 9 day Cruise of new England.

The Niagara and NY parts were great, although if you intend to do this, try and get a direct flight to Toronto, and cancel the Amtrak train journey to New York, We cancelled ours and Iglu booked flights from Toronto to New York instead of Amtrak which takes 11 hours, cost a but more money (£150) but we were in New York just after lunch as opposed to midnight when the Train people arrived,

Port Reviews

Boston

Nice City, about 40 mins walk into town past Harbour front, Head for Quincy Market, everything happens here, including Cheers Bar. Busy bustling area, great to wander round. Note-its cheaper to get a Taxi outside the Terminal building than the Shuttle !!!!

Portland (Maine)

Disappointing, can walk into town but not much too see

Saint John (New Brunswick)

Not too much here. You can walk through the Terminal Shopping Marquee then through a covered walkway to a Market and a small mall. need to do reversing rapids and Fundy here otherwise on a wet day there isnt much to see
