We chose Oceana because it offered us the ports we wanted to visit , unfortunately due to force 9 gales our itinerary was completely altered this I appreciate was done for our safety but non the less was very disappointing. Many passengers were sea sick but we all managed not to succumb, although 2 days later I caught Noro virus and was confined to my cabin in order not to spread it to other passengers. Whilst confined to my cabin I watched from my balcony passengers returning from trips ashore and noticed many people failing to use the hand gel provided, had P&O insisted on this important safeguard maybe I could have avoided the Noro virus. Get your act together P&O.The ship generally was fine in the public areas but the cabins were very shabby and tired looking, also wasn't happy about the drinks prep area being infront of the mirror were you did your hair, not hygenic.
