This cruise was alot of fun. Was it a 10? No. Was it close? Pretty much. The food was not as good as on Celebrity which I had cruised in the past but it certainly was adequate. Ate in the italian and steakhouse specialty restaurants @ $10 and $25 respectively minus cost of wine. Service was great and so was the food. Great cruise director. We did not participate in alot of ship board activities as we are 57 year old high school pals and just wanted to relax, share some laughs and enjoy the warm weather. This is really a fine cruise for a long weekend. We had NO problem getting on and off the ship at any time. A short wait for the tender to take us to the island, but no big deal. The island was nice for the day. Of course they will try to sell you everything and nickel and dime you on this and every cruise but if you do not purchase alot of extras, drinks etc. it's fine. The casino is quite small and needs some updated slot machines. No winners, it seems like they are VERY stingy with their money in the slots so beware of that. The staff was great and attended to everything. The cabin was quite small but the three of us spent alot of time on the verendah and outside of the cabin so it was fine. There are alot of bars and clubs on this ship, it seemed like everyone was having alot of fun dancing and drinking, etc. There is also a really nice piano bar. Food was VERY plentiful the whole weekend. I would say if you are looking for a short vacation to some warm weather and can get a deal on this cruise, go for it. I probably would not want to do it for a week or more, but take it for what it is and relax and just have fun! The sail away party was great fun. The day we visited Nassau we hired one of the tour guides - his name is John and he is a sharp dresser! - he took a van full of eight women all over Nassau for a historical and informational tour and it was fabulous! He took us to atlantis as well where we stayed approx 45 minutes. Lots of history on the island and John was great! AND the cost is only $25 plus whatever you decide to tip. It is a great deal and gives you the chance to see alot of the island.
