Choose the cruise to go to Cuba. The food and staff on the ship was great. The casino and cruise director staff made the trip extremely enjoyable. The entertainment in the main showroom was current and fun. The entertainment at the pool was lacking The Caribbean flair.
The ship itself was older and even though it had gone through an upgrade it still appeared slightly run down. Examples; drawers in the cabins did not close well, cup holders missing in showroom, multiple slot machine down in casino, numerous issues with card shuffler, etc.
One of the biggest issues we had was with the Cuba excursions and the appearance of confusion and lack of direction from the excursion staff. Some of the excursion staff made you fell you were bothering them when you needed assistance. Other members of the staff went out of the way to help you. This is one area the ship needs to work on since they are using Cuba as the primary draw of this cruise.
Not a bad size. If you need two beds be prepared to lift your luggage over the bed as not enough room to wheel it past the bed. Room appear d a little warn out as drawers did not close well, closet doors rattled, etc. not bad for the age of the ship.
Private island. Great to walk around.
Fantastic private island. Great activities and service. The zip line is a must do.
