You know when you and your spouse just need a break, and lo! your 5-day Cabo cruise comes along at that right time! And this happened to be our 14th Princess cruise, so Princess obviously fills-the-bill for any length of getaways. We left LA under the threat of weather from a passing hurricane coming ashore to our south. But by morning the weather was beautiful and as luck would have it the weather held all five days! Unfortunately the ships air conditioning malfunctioned and things got uncomfortable in steamy hot Cabo. However my wife and I found relief in the comfy lounge chairs in a shady area on deck by the pool. We ended up there deep into the evening. Dinner was a delicious pulled pork sandwich from the snack bar we shared and later a selection from the nearby buffet I went and got. A nice breeze picked up off the ocean as the ship turned towards home. We snuggled in blankets provided for evening movies and watched Thursday night football. Casual, different from the norm for us, and a great way to spent an afternoon and evening. Even though the Star Princess is a bit older it still fulfilled all our needs and wants, especially when they got the air working. Very nice little trip and perfect timing.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Balcony stateroom are always a little tight, especially the shower, but the new beds are the most comfortable I've been on.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo was very hot and humid. Having been there many many times we did some shopping for gifts and headed back to the ship.
