Wonderful Mediterranean cruise on Silhouette

We chose this ship because we had been so pleased with our previous cruises on Eclipse and were told that Silhouette was near enough identical to her. We were not disappointed, the ship was just as we imagined and met our every expectation.
We booked this cruise whilst on board Eclipse last year and chose a Suite because of all the perks that came with it.
It gave us Luminae as our designated restaurant, with outstanding service and menu. Michael's Club as a private functional bar cum entertaining venue and meeting place. Katerina, our Butler, which originally we thought we were not going to have a need of - until she made us aware of all the areas that she could assist with - and wow, was she indispensable. Also, Nico , a personal concierge based in Michael's Club, who kept surprising us with her knowledge, expertise and ability.

Gibraltar
Have been many times and just enjoy the tax free shopping and the ambiance. The time in port is usually not as long as other destinations and therefore limited as to how much can be done.
Toulon
Shuttle boat at a charge to get to the port. A LOT of cafe`s and restaurants. A road train is useful to go on to see the town.
Rome (Civitavecchia)
Civitavecchia by shuttle bus. Excellent town with beautiful areas
Corsica (Ajaccio)
Walked ourselves around with the help of a map obtained at the port.
Lisbon
Love Lisbon, unfortunately it was around 34 degrees, so plenty of hydration required. Appeared to be graduation day, lots of students in gowns singing and dancing- great fun.
