We had a wonderful trip on LoS. It was myself and my 31 year old daughter. The ship is beautiful decorated. The dining room has an elegant feel, even with all the hustle and bustle. Our stateroom was a very spacious ocean view, all the way port side, all the way forward, with 2 huge portholes! The views were outstanding. We had an armchair, a love seat and a coffee table in our room. The bathroom was the standard Royal bath, with the glass enclosed shower. We enjoyed the food in the Windjammer and the Main Dining room. We had booked MyTime Dining, and reserved out seats online with the RC cruise planner, and were pleasantly surprised to have the same servers and table every night.. The Promenade Cafe had good snacks and treats. The pizza at Sorrentos was tasty, as were their salads. We purchased the Royal Refresh drink plan, and enjoyed fresh squeezed orange juice every morning at the Windjammer and the specialty coffees and teas at the Promenade cafe, plus non-alcoholic drinks. We also got souvenir cups, they were in our stateroom when we got to the room.. Our cabin steward was pleasant and kept our room tidy and well supplied with clean towels & wine glasses. We took advantage of being able to bring in our own wine, and had our 2 bottles in our carry on. I must give special kudos to the staff at Vintages. Our corkscrew broke in the cork when we were trying to open one of our bottles of wine. The sommelier there kindly uncorked the bottle for us! And gave us new cork for our bottle. That was very very nice. Lunch at Chops Grille was nice, great service and really tender steaks. The slides were fun, as was the minigolf. The pools and hot tubs were clean, and lifeguards were present all the time. Our itinerary included Coxen Hole, Roatan, Honduras. We took a private tour out to West Bay, where we took a glass bottom boat tour and snorkeled at our leisure. We saw so many fish and iguanas. Our 2nd port of call was Belize City. We got our tender tickets early, they were handing them out just before 8am outside the main dining room. The tender ride to shore was pleasant. We took a private tour to Altun Ha ruins, where we were able to climb the ruins and take fantastic photos. We returned back to the tourism village, and tendered back to the ship, where we ate lunch and enjoyed the ship. Our final port was Cozumel. We walked over to El Cid La Ceiba, a nice little hotel offering a beach day pass to cruise passengers. We only went to the casino once, to use a $5 free play we received. The onboard entertainment was fun, from free dance classes on deck, to classic guitar music on the Promenade. The Dreamworks parade was really cute. The late night balloon drop was FUN! Shopping was good in every port. We didn't do any onboard shopping. We only used the gym for the steam room and sauna. My daughter and I both enjoyed ourselves, and are already planning our next mother-daughter cruise.

Cabin Review

Ocean View
Cabin 8N 7506
This stateroom is all the way forward, port side, with 2 large portholes. Being this far forward, ti was asked that the curtains be kept closed after dark. The cabin only sleeps 2 maximum. The room was furnished with an armchair, love seat and coffee table, with the standard desk and chair. We had plenty of room. The closet was well stocked with hangers, and shelves, with a small safe. The desk area had 6 drawers, one of which holding a blow dryer, and small shelves behind the side mirrors. AC was adjusted with a controller, by the desk. Electrical outlets were at the desk, 2 US and 1 European.. There is a small fridge in a cabinet by the desk. The TV had a shelf over it. There were few channels.
The bathroom was a standard bath with glass enclosed shower with combo shower gel/shampoo, single basin sink and a medicine chest & cup holders.
We had smooth seas, so I can't speak for any notable motion being all this way forward.
