We had a wonderful trip on LoS. It was myself and my 31 year old daughter. The ship is beautiful decorated. The dining room has an elegant feel, even with all the hustle and bustle.
Our stateroom was a very spacious ocean view, all the way port side, all the way forward, with 2 huge portholes! The views were outstanding. We had an armchair, a love seat and a coffee table in our room. The bathroom was the standard Royal bath, with the glass enclosed shower.
We enjoyed the food in the Windjammer and the Main Dining room. We had booked MyTime Dining, and reserved out seats online with the RC cruise planner, and were pleasantly surprised to have the same servers and table every night.. The Promenade Cafe had good snacks and treats. The pizza at Sorrentos was tasty, as were their salads.
This stateroom is all the way forward, port side, with 2 large portholes. Being this far forward, ti was asked that the curtains be kept closed after dark. The cabin only sleeps 2 maximum. The room was furnished with an armchair, love seat and coffee table, with the standard desk and chair. We had plenty of room. The closet was well stocked with hangers, and shelves, with a small safe. The desk area had 6 drawers, one of which holding a blow dryer, and small shelves behind the side mirrors. AC was adjusted with a controller, by the desk. Electrical outlets were at the desk, 2 US and 1 European.. There is a small fridge in a cabinet by the desk. The TV had a shelf over it. There were few channels.
The bathroom was a standard bath with glass enclosed shower with combo shower gel/shampoo, single basin sink and a medicine chest & cup holders.
We had smooth seas, so I can't speak for any notable motion being all this way forward.
We walked over to El Cid, La Ceiba, where we enjoyed good food, and pretty decent snorkeling. The drinks were good, too.
We were dropped off in front of Terminal 2, where we dropped off our luggage. There was a long line to enter the building, but it moved fast. Security was fast & efficient.
