Chosen for the ship and the ports that it visited with the least amount of sea days as neither myself or my wife like sea days. Herculaneum was great but in my opinion not as good as Pompeii. There were a number of issues with the drinks package and some of the bars. The staff in select dining were excellent and the food was great as it was in all areas. Cakes and coffee to die for in the speciality coffee bar area. Some of the excursions in my opinion were very over priced. The cabin with its balcony offered excellent views at all times and were kept clean by the attendant. Little known people are the attendants who spend most of their life in the toilets keeping them spotless although there are many tourists who still insist on not washing their hands when leaving the toilets although I take great delight in telling them in public so that others can hear.

Although we purchased the premier drinks package which was quite expensive and should entitle us to everything, there were numerous times that many wines listed were out of stock in numerous bars.
