We have been on 8 cruises so far-Princess, Carnival, Holland America, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, length of cruise and the way the days at sea were distributed between the port days. It worked out very well. We love the overall design of the ship. Many nice areas to sit, listen to music, have a drink, or be alone (on our balcony).

The crew was IMPECCABLE from start to finish! Everyone greeted you with a smile, even if just passing in the hall. The bar areas (our favorites were Crooners, Explorers, and Outrigger) lacked in seating, but the drinks were good, bar menu consistent, and staff made the entire experience.

The food was adequate. Seated dining is Savoy was a bit disappointing because of wait times for our food, and our lack of interest in the menu. Tables for two are a joke-it feels like you are sitting in your neighbors lap. The Horizons buffet was decent for lunch/dinner. Breakfast was a bit tiring. And it could be crowded at times. But the staff was right on top of getting drinks for guests and cleaning tables.

No refurb here! The bathroom is old and very tired. Looks dirty and dingy even after being cleaned. Shower had a bit of pink mold in it, and the shower curtains are a disappointment as I dont like them clinging to my legs as I try to shower. Water pressure good!! Lack of storage in the bathroom. Room small but adequate. Balcony very nice-but people can see you from their balcony when you are at the edge. Carpet not even completely installed. We had a teapot to make coffee or tea every morning-very nice feature.
