Sail Date: Jun 2018

A tradition in our family is to take a cruise for celebrations. This cruise was to celebrate our sons graduation with his masters degree. We typically sail out of Galveston but wanted a new ship out of a different port. The Carnival Horizon did not disappoint! The entertainment was the best we have experienced. Celestial Strings was by far the best show we have seen on Carnival. Chris, the Flying Scotsman was the Cruise Director and provided stellar atrium shows and mega deck parties. Accompanying Chris was his talented fun squad, including Kyndall Fire, Joey, and Erin (Bingo Flamingo). Just a top notch team. The Walk the Plank for St. Jude was humbling, and truly showed the value Carnival and its staff place on the importance of contributing to this amazing charity. By far, the entertainment was the highlight! Other good points were the food, the service, the appearance and cleanliness of the ship. Not a huge fan of the layout, but nothing that would prohibit my visiting this ship again!
