We chose this cruise because it was going to ports that we have enjoyed in the past and the 9 days was perfect for us. We had been on many Holland America and Celebrity Cruises in the past and thought we'd give RC a try.

For us, the ship was too large and we felt that everything you wanted to do had to be programmed before you boarded the ship. For us, vacation means spur of the moment and not regimented. Tried to play bingo on first sea day and when we got to venue (10 minutes before start of game)there were no available seats, so we left.

Being in a Jr. Suite, we got to eat in the Coastal Kitchen for dinner. While the food was good, the selections were limited and many menus were repeated over the 9 days.

Grand Suite with Large Balcony - 1 Bedroom

Cabin GB

While we originally thought having 2 bathroom spaces would be great, we have come to realize that having 1 larger bathroom would have suited us better. Stall shower was nice but found it difficult to get to rain shower mode.

We did enjoy having the extra closet next to the bed to hold our jackets, etc.
