We were on Carnival Splendor out of Los Angeles/Long Beach port going on the 7 day Mexican Riviera with 2 days in Cabo & 1 day in Puerto Vallarta. Our sail month was June 2018. We have been on 7 other cruises on Carnival 5 of them out of this same port. Embarkation from this time was WONDERFUL. They change the terminal & the way boarding is done, it was a breeze GOOD job Carnival!

We were in room 6483, 8A Balcony, this was one of the larger balconies located in the back of the ship next to the "wrap-around" balcony (the Wrap-around will be our next cruise). We have been in the mid balcony & the AFT balcony, this one so far is more private. We however did here loud noises when we pushed off as well as arriving to a port. I'm not sure if it was the anchor or what. Just FYI if you get this room you will hear this loud rumble noise.

We however did not reach EITHER of our ports due to Hurricane BUD. We ended up in San Diego & Ensinada. Carnival did everything they could keeping us updated on the weather & attempting to port in Cabo but Mother nature had other plans. All in all we still had a great time & will be headed out again on another Carnival 7 day in October out of Miami this time!
