Many people had their biggest adventure just in getting to San Juan. Crazy weather all over the states had the entire system messed up, then to top it all off, a volcano erupted 150 miles south of San Juan, and it looked like the winds were going to blow the cloud over the airport! We were late getting into San Juan, but made it in time for the ship to set sail.

This is my second cruise on Celebrity. The last one was a few years ago, and I can tell they have cut some services due to the recession. I stayed in a very nice cabin, one of the best in the Concierge Class, but the flight cost more than the cruise did! Our stateroom attendant did his job well, but seemed rather stressed. He had 20 staterooms to attend to! We ordered room service breakfast every day, and inevitably they got something wrong every day, however, we did not complain, as it was never life threatening.

Overall, the food on the cruise was average, nothing spectacular, and a couple of nights we went back to the buffet after dinner for sushi, because we were still hungry. For example, the lobster bisque was not good at all. The stuff I get at Costco is ten times better!

Cabin Review

Cabin CC

This cabin has an extra deep veranda as it is wedged in between two royal suites.
