I used to cruise to Bermuda all the time when the ships docked in St. George's and Hamilton. On my last attempt to go to Dockyard, there was a hurricane heading to Bermuda and we were diverted so this was my make-up trip.
I took a taxi to the Cape Liberty and embarkation was a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised to see the improvements to the terminal and how organized they were.
The ship is showing its age so the upcoming upgrades will definitely be welcome as the Summit is one of my favorites.
The cabin was nice and clean but wire hangers from previous cruisers were left in the closet. Did not like that at all. Only the wooden hangers provided by Celebrity should be there as I always dispose of my hangers before leaving. The balcony and chairs, however, were filthy as if not cleaned in a while. I had to use a towel to wipe down the chairs and table before sitting out there. Loved being on Deck 11 as it is convenient to everything. This time the volume from Movies Under the Stars on Deck 12 was kept at a reasonable level to not disturb us.
