We chose the Adriatic cruise leaving from Corfu because of the itinerary. The staff in every department were really great & worked their socks off. The food was good, if a little repetitive. The Asian restaurant Kora La was absolutely fantastic - far & away the best food on the ship, & the service was great too. The entertainment was great - Benjamin Gillan & Paul Greenwood were really good. We enjoyed the bands as well. One point is that the Live Room was perhaps a bit small for the bands? Change it to a pub type bar, keep the acoustics in there, put the bands in the Venue. Cabin was small but fine, if a bit tired, bit the hair dryers were awful. They had hardly any power. Eva, our cabin steward, found me another which was more powerful but had the button you had to keep pressed down & it kept falling out of the socket. Bring your own, people! Bathroom was very well designed but would have been nicer with a solid surround in the shower. All in all a good trip without beg excitement.
Plenty of cupboard space but the cupboards were not great quality - on their last legs possibly. Bed very comfortable, dressing table space limited by snacks & drinks for sale, & kettle, mugs etc. Hairdryer the worst ever on a cruise ship. Either give us decent ones or don't bother. Eva was really lovely. Apart from having a shower curtain the bathroom, despite its size, was well-designed & very clean.
