This was a tester cruise. I thought I would start with my perception of the best. Not sure that was true. There were some disappointing features generally and other passengers I spoke with did feel the service decreased over the weekend of the short cruise. They had been on the ship for a longer cruise running into the short cruise. The food was not as good as we had hoped. It was definitely 3 star. Can't complain about the amount of a available food. You really can eat all day. Staff were pleasant enough but not overly so. The shore trip was well executed but unfortunately the shopping was poor as most shops were closed. Overall it was a good weekend but not value for money. I will try other companies to be able to compare with Cunard. On balance I think that my expectations were too high. Set them lower and you won't be disappointed.
