Embarkation was fast and easy. We really enjoyed all of the entertainment on this sailing. Jimmy Hopper was the Headliner and he’s the best singer that we’ve seen on any ship. We dined at Giovanni’s and Chops and had great food and service at both. We ate at the Windjammer for dinner the other 3 nights and the food was delicious. Ship has a fantastic, easy to navigate layout. We are used to larger ships but really enjoyed this class of ship for my husband and I. Less kids on this ship and the shows had a more “grown up” vibe. We really enjoyed all of the trivia activities and found that they were much more challenging than on other ships. Not many perfect scores on this sailing. Schooner bar is very spacious on this ship and it’s almost always easy to find a seat. The only issue we had was with our cabin which I outlined below. Guest services team took care of us though.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite Accessible

Cabin J3

This is a regular Junior Suite (not accessible). The suite was fantastic. Very clean, tons of storage and a beautiful large balcony. The only reason this suite gets only 2 stars is because of the noise from the Windjammer. The Windjammer has a tile floor and the crew are always rolling their carts of food and dishes back and forth. Thump, thump, thump, thump...it sounds like thunder. Starts around 5am and I could still hear them over the music in my headphones at 11:30pm. I have to compliment the Guest Services team though. We mentioned the noise to our cabin steward and the next day Guest Services asked us to come down to the desk. They gave us a 20% future cruise credit which worked out to about $520. I’m sure they get complaints every week since it’s just a bad design to have the tile in the Windjammer. We were very happy with how proactive they were in handling the situation though.
