Wanted to do a cruse since we had not done one since 2005. We had never been to Bermuda so we choose this destination but never got there due to Hurricane Florence. NCL changed the cruise to Florida, then a stop to NCL private island and then on to Nassau but that was canceled on Wednesday, 9/12 around 6pm so we could arrive on time back into port on Sunday, 9/16. I realize safety is a major concern and I don't have issues with that. What upsets us is the fact that the cruise to the Bahamas is cheaper than going to Bermuda. NCL did not do anything for us in the form of some compensation or a discount on a future cruise to Bermuda. Remember take care of your customers and the money will follow. Apparently no one understands this at NCL. I would also like to point out that our stateroom attendant had to be reminded about cleaning the bathroom, providing wash cloths and towels as well as pool towels in addition to keeping the ice bucket full. Bartenders were extremely rude if you were on a soda package and only ordered soda and no alcohol. They never smiled or said thank you. They acted like they were doing you a favor. Lastly several shows were canceled due to the storm as entertainers could not get on the ship. NCL did not to make up for this. The last three days at sea were boring. They even had issues with the slots not working one evening due to a program glitch. I asked NCL what they were willing to do for us and they informed me that nothing was going to be done...no refunds, no discounts, etc. If you decide if you want to sail with them! If you do good luck!!
Bigger than planned, bathroom was small. Cabin could have been cleaned better!
