We had heard a lot of positive feedback about Thomson cruises in the past and thought we would try them now that they are updating their fleet. Having used various cruise lines in the past, it exceeded our expectations in comparison. The whole experience on board was positive, however we feel that the excursions we booked could have been better.

The food was very good and there was an excellent choice of venues that were included. We used Vista twice, the Tapas bar twice and Choose your own Pasta and Pizza. on three nights. Latitude 53, the main waiter service restaurant was well laid out with plenty of tables for 2 and spacious. The food and service was also good. The food in the self-service restaurant was good and a good choice, in particular for lunch and dinner. The service points were well laid out and no trouble getting a table. We tried the "Surf and Turf" speicality restaurant for our anniversary, but it was the worst meal we had on board. The food arrived cold and we were placed under an air conditioning vent. The food was replaced but that spoiled the occasion. It was not value for money for the £28.95 that we paid
