Our third cruise with Celebrity and second on the beautiful Solstice. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the timing of the trip. We also love this ship and that was a key factor in selecting this cruise.

Our cruise got off to a great start when we were offered a complimentary upgrade from a sunset balcony to a sky suite. Of course, we accepted without hesitation! We had a corner aft suite and enjoyed all of the perks; a butler, access to Michael’s Club, Luminare restaurant and priority boarding on tender boats.

The food and service in Luminare was exceptional. The ship has gorgeous decor and lovely public spaces with plenty of bars and lounges. I love the observation lounge at the bow of the ship, such a beautiful spot to sit and relax.

Sky Suite 2

Very spacious and well appointed. Double sinks in bathroom with shower over the bath tub. Wrap around verandah with ample room.

Newcastle (Australia)

Took shuttle bus around town. Beautiful beaches and lovely boardwalk.

Cairns

Have visited Cairns before so just wandered around town and did some shopping.
