Overall norwegian cruise line goes above and beyond to give a you a great cruise experience. This our first time on the escape ( bigger than breakaway) its layout was the same as the breakaway but with much more cabins. As usually the shows were great, we were a little disappointed in the food. We ate 3 times in the speciality restaurants.

Cagneys steakhouse was the best, terryanki provided great eternatainment while they prepared your food. La cuncina was a disappointment - in the past its been great but service was very slow and food was cold.

I would skip the excursion claiming to be a marnie adventure. Due to choppy seas they just stayed in harbor and althought we did see a lobster being caught, the only other marnie life was a black bird and two dogs being walked on shore. Not my idea of a marnie adventure. If they coudlnt go out into the open ocean they should have cancelled the excurson and given us our money back. Althought they bussed you to boat it was still a very long walk over the sky bridge - not a level one activity. Read more
