My wife is celebrating her 50th birthday and wanted to cruise. We had a wonderful time. The passengers we met really made this cruise unforgettable, especially Pat and Derek, who celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on board. We spent most of our time at the lido restaurant and bar by the stern pool on deck 9. There we met Charlie, one of the waiters, who was absolutely fantastic. His professionalism and personality is second to none. Look for him when you cruise. I would recommend that you sit and eat breakfast in the Orion restaurant rather than any of the buffet restaurants and the same goes for evening dinner. Lunch, snacks and lighter bites are good at all the buffet restaurants but for the main meals we preferred the Orion.

We didn’t eat at any of the themed restaurants so I cannot review them but any of the other passengers who ate there were delighted with them.

We went on one excursion, to Capri. It was really nice.

Very nice, if basic. Outside cabin. Very well looked after by our cabin steward, Shiiful. He was very good.
