SHIP:
We chose this cruise as we had not visited any of the destinations previously, save for Brisbane where we remained on board. The ship is indeed a large vessel, but that's the way its going these days. The crew had been used to servicing Asian customers who generally have a different cultural expectation to that of westerners. There were approximately 2700 Aussies on board with the next group being Americans numbering only approximately 90. I think the crew did a magnificent job accommodating and adapting to the expectations of the Aussie passengers, although it did take a few days. There were many complainers on board that we noticed, but hey as other reviewers of other vessels say, look for the positives and not the negatives.
CABIN:
A little smaller than her equivalent on P&O Pacific Pearl. Small balcony with two chairs and a small table. Bathroom small but served our needs and ample hanging space in the wardrobe. two seater settee was ample for us. Cabin can accomodate 4 people however we think it would be extremely cramped if you did so and accessing the balcony would not be possible.
Funicular to peak then walk around tour, followed by lunch on Victoria Harbor
Was very good experience. Tender transfer without hiccup.
Made our own way around. Merlion is a must
