We've always wanted to see Ireland so this was an easy and affordable way to do that. The ports were awesome and we love sea days so this was the cruise for us. We especially enjoyed the ports due to the friendly people and that everyone spoke English. The captain was extremely informative and consistently kept us up to date on everything from the weather (including a change in plans due to storm systems in the Atlantic) to a medical emergency onboard where they were seeking blood donors. The staff was warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was festive. The ship is clean and nicely appointed and the food was excellent, including the buffet. Princess offered shore excursions that were reasonably priced and interesting. And we have found they always have a variety of diverse and talented entertainment onboard. All in all, a great value and a superb cruise! We would do it again.

The balcony rooms are very nice with excellent TVs and a shower that is slightly larger than on the smaller ships.

Cobh (Cork)

Blarney Castle is awesome - too many buses there that day to get to see that much but we enjoyed it anyway!
