We chose this cruise because we wanted to see fewer large cities and more scenery and that's exactly what we got! A lot of Europe is now overrun with tourists and this was a pleasant change. So, instead of experiencing large crowds, we were able to go at times to fishing villages in small groups. There were also a wide variety of shore experiences for you to take advantage of depending on your interests and physical condition.

We were also pleased with the dining options. We haven't been on many cruises, because we didn't want to be tempted by food constantly and prefer a healthier approach. The food was good AND you could always find low cal options. We really liked all the seafood entrees. We also liked the different levels of dining so that you could grab a casual dinner if you wanted. Finally, we often used room service if we had an early morning tour at no extra charge. Our food was delivered on time & without issue.

The activities were varied and we took advantage of as many as we wanted. There were always overviews of the next day's excursions and sometimes historical perspectives of the areas we would be visiting. Musical groups also played throughout the ship in the evening. Read more
