I chose this cruise because I wanted to see the Norwegian fjords, and because a travel agent had put together a group that included some dance lessons and dancing as part of the package. I would probably not have chosen to go on a cruise otherwise but I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience.
The Norwegian fjords are beautiful and well worth the trip. The facilities and standard of cleanliness on the ship were very good, and the food was much better than expected - a good variety including some dishes which are tricky to do well, but we enjoyed everything we tried. We tried one specialty restaurant which was also good but not worth the additional cost. Also, generally the speed of service was slow at dinnertime, I would rather have had some of that time for other things. The cabins were comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony for the views although we hardly ever went out on it. I now think an outside cabin without a balcony would be just as good, as you still get the views and you are nearer the sea.
We thought the evening entertainment was very good, and especially enjoyed the jazz quartet.
Layout well thought out, so there was plenty of storage space and it didnt feel clutered or cramped. Cabin service also very good
