The Epic is a large ship. Overall we really enjoyed the cruise. It was very port heavy, so I didn't catch many shows. The food was a step above Carnival & Royal. The buffet was very good, as were the restaurants. Highly recommend the Steakhouse & Maderno Brazil Steakhouse...both were excellent. I didn't mind the room set up, but the beds are way too short. I'm 6.2 and my feet hung off the bed. The bed itself was comfortable, but too short. We were in a mini-suite. Dining room food was good, the only place I didn't care for was the French restaurant. Great service, but the food was a bit "meh".

We did shore excursions to Pompeii/Analfi Coast, and David/Florence via the ship. The prices were high, in retrospect I'd book via Viator as it would have been MUCH cheaper. The shore excursions were great though via the ship, just expensive.

It was annoying that specialty coffee/bottled water are not included in the beverage package, however you can fill water easily at the buffet. Also specialty coffee wasn't that expensive for a latte (like 3 bucks).

Very nice with tons of storage. The bed is too small though
