Wanted to see a few different islands in Hawai'i and this provided the easiest way to do that. Ports of call were all great and the right amount of time spent in each. Unfortunately I've cruised with 3 other cruise companies and found Norwegian to be only better than Carnival but not better than Royal Carribean or Seaborne. The initial booking was not inexpensive and then there were lots additional charges you incur during the trip. Food at only the specialty restaurants was good but required an additional charge to each there. The "complimentary" restaurants were marginal at best. There are absolutely no alcoholic drink packages available (even 2 drinks a day) BUT they refuse to let you bring on any of your own. They charge by the drink (pricey too). They expect you to pay for waterbottles and provide no easy way to have drinking (non-tap) water for excursions and while you're away from the dining facilities. They hate when you use the buffet to fill up your reusable water bottles!!!! Their added tip rate is very high and you have to go to the Guest Services desk during your last night or the morning of debarkation to request, in person that you have it lowered. This makes no sense if you feel it's just too high or that you received specific bad service. All of the extra charges made my cruise expenses nearly has high as my all-inclusive cruise with the luxury line Seaborne. If anyone else had offered a Hawai'i option that stayed in just the islands I would take it.

Itinerary was awesome

Cabin Review

2-Bedroom Family Suite with Large Balcony
Cabin SI 7178
Was nicely appointed and good space for all 5 of us. The 1 bathroom was a terrible bummer but the room arrangements for 5 that included 2 bathrooms were very strange so we stuck with this one. The mattresses on the pull out beds were awfully uncomfortable. BUT our cabin butler that came with this suite made this cruise way better than it otherwise would have been. You WILL however have to pay a pretty pricey tip(in cash) IN ADDITION to the other gratuities they tack on for regular staff, for the butler feature.
