We flew from Orlando to San Juan and transfer to ship and check in went very smoothly and quickly. We were impressed with free champagne and mimosas on boarding the ship. The cabin with veranda was very nice and clean and bathroom had more space than many other ships that we have been on. We were upset that our luggage did not arrive at cabin until 7:30 PM (shortly after we complained to our cabin steward).Cabin was cleaned adequately but we felt the bathroom could have been done a bit better. We found the food stations for breakfast and lunch excellent with a wide assortment of foods. From custom omelets at breakfast to custom pastas at lunch with wide assortment of meats, pastries, etc., we had no complaints. Pizza was the best we have ever had at sea! Evening Dinners in the Dining Room were very good overall with choices from a standard menu or the nights specialities. Portions were small but adequate and well prepared although we found they had a hard time getting the fish orders prepared properly (once overdone). Beef, pork, duck, etc. were superb. Desserts excellent overall with the best baked alaska we ever had. Entertainment was really outstanding and as we have been to numerous Broadway shows, ship entertainment was right up there! Much better than the Carnival and HAL ships we have been on. We also loved the fact that only once per day was the loudspeaker system used to advise when we could depart the ship in port. Ports were very good and we liked St Croix, Antigua, St Kitts, and St Lucia. Recommend using cabs to get around the islands as it is much cheaper than shore excursions. The ship itself is beautiful and well laid out. The nightclub is one of the nicest we have ever experienced. We will be sailing Celebrity again and highly recommend it for people 45 to 70.
