I choose this cruise because I had not been to the port of calls before. The ship, accommodations, and services were outstanding. So, the time onboard was rewarded with good food, accommodations, and activities.
However, more time on shore would have improved the experience in the countries. Many docks were too far from the city. This created a waste of valuable time to be bussed to the sites. For instance, docking at the port nearer to Bangkok would improve the experience.
This cruise experienced many delayed docking. This backed up the departure for tours. This was not caused because the ship was not at the port as the given time, but more about the time required to have the ship cleared to dock and debark passengers.
The local tour guides did a very good job. The tours were well planned and organized. Most all the buses were in good condition and were very comfortable. There were isolated issues with the buses, but I believe this was due to limited buses at the port of call. This was a small inconvenience to be able to visit the location.
Cabin and service were outstanding.
