We had a really bad experience on this cruise. 2 of the 3 shore excursions we had booked we're cancelled. We only got half our money back for one of those excursions. One of our shuttle drivers forgot to pick us up and we had to hitch a ride with another shuttle. The guest services agent was actually rude to me when I was trying to explain to her what happened with the first excursion. Our third excursion was downright boring and not worth the money we paid for it. We would have rather walked around Victoria, rather than take a bus tour. We weren't docked in the ports long enough to actually get to experience the towns. The actual cruise ship itself was fine, but lacking in activities for us to do during the day. The food in the non-complimentary restaurants was pretty good. The food in the complimentary dining was mostly bland. The bed in the cabin was really uncomfortable. The walls are thin and you can hear people in the hallway at all hours. During the day, all there was to do was eat, drink and play bingo or trivia all day - you can only do so much of that before it's boring. On top of our bad experiences, we both got very sick the last day. So, unless you like eating and drinking non-stop, sleeping very little, getting sick and being stuck on a boat for days at a time, don't waste your money. There are much better ways to travel Alaska.

Cabin BC

The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The pillows needed washing. The bathroom is so small you can barely turn around in it (I'm of average height and bmi - I don't know how the larger people manage these bathrooms). The ice bucket was never emptied from the previous guests. The walls are thin and you can hear everything.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

This was the best part of the cruise. We were able to use our balcony and get great pictures of the glaciers.

Ketchikan

Ketchikan is really cute. I wish we had been docked for more than 4 hours because I would have liked to see more of it and eat at one of the restaurants in town.

Seattle

Seattle has a lot to do and see, it's a cool city to visit.
