We have cruises MSC before - since 2004 on Lirica and the old Rhapsody. Seaside was a new experience given all of the technological updates. We were in what they call a suite (category S-3), which was really no larger than a standard balcony or ocean view cabin but with a really large veranda/balcony, which afforded no privacy at all because every deck above deck 10 had a perfect view of these. There was very limited closet and drawer space - 2 drawers and 2 shelves plus the shelf with the safe on it. The location of the bed made it really difficult to get into the closet. The bathroom was small - a glass enclosed shower that made it difficult to wash lower legs, and a "vanity" that hardly allowed space for toothbrush and other toiletries. The two shelves in the bathroom were exceptionally small.
Other than that, the ship was immense. Paying $9 for a trip on the zip line seemed a bit exorbitant and $25 per half hour for bowling was a bit high as well. Not that I would ever use either, but it was no surprise that we never saw anyone on the zip. The bowling, however, was used - not by us, but by others. We knew it was being used because our dining room and specifically our table was directly below the alley. We kept hearing what we thought was the crash of thunder above, but it turned out to be bowling balls. Poor location.
We did enjoy very much the entertainment - and once we got used to the "Drinks on Us" allowances, we enjoyed the cruise immensely. Our bill at the end was less than $10.00.
