...the printed info that you are given is misleading. There are different food packages that you can purchase. The printed info you recieve will suggest you have many more options for "free" or covered places to eat than you actually have. You'll sit down, order, then find out, opps this place isn't covered by your package even tho it says it is on your info page. Also, on our cruise, there was a medical emergency. Someone fell down some stairs. The Captain announced that he was going to forego going through the glacier fields (which was the main highlight that most passengers were looking forward to) in order to get to Juneau a few hours sooner. What I and every passingger that I talked to wondered why they didn't helicopter the person to a hospital. Especially when you are asked to purchase additional insurance to cover being helicoptered for a medical emergency. Finally, Jersey Boys was great!

instead of booking an excursion, go to The Mountain Shop in town and get a trail map and good advise on the best trail for you. I took a hike to a lake and it was the best "excursion" of my trip.
