Our cruise ship was suppose to go to Bermuda. Unfortunately, so was Hurricane Florence. Norwegian Cruise Line made the correct decision to divert our ship to New England and Canada. What a great cruise!! The weather was perfect in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. The seas were calm and the excursions were plentiful to select from. Halifax, Nova Scotia was amazing. We visited the Fairview Cemetery where 151 victims of the Titanic disaster are buried. Such a humbling experience!!! We also learned about the great explosion in Halifax in 1917. Peggy’s Cove is a must see and great souvenir shopping there. In Sydney, Nova Scotia we enjoyed a very festive live fiddle show. In Saint John, New Brunswick we went to see the Reversing Rapids and learned about the high tide from the ocean pushing back the river!! Beautiful marigolds were planted in the middle of the highway by the school students. Our last stop was in Bar Harbor, Maine. We took a tour to Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain. Such a breathtaking view and excellent photo shots!!! To end our day, we ate lobster at the West St. Cafe, highly recommended by the ship and locals!! Oh my goodness, we ended our trip with triple chocolate cake!!! Norwegian Cruise Line took great care of us. I also loved the casino on the ship and all of the delicious meals they served to us!! Could not have asked to be treated any better. Thank you Norwegian Dawn for some of the best memories of my life!!

Cabin steward Eco was very attentive and took great care of us. Lots of noise above our room. I believe we were under the Lido deck as it sounded liked carts rolling over our ceiling all hours of the night. The room itself was perfect!!
