September itinerary was desirable for us. First time cruising with Norwegian. The balcony room on the 14th deck was spacious and clean. Service by room staff was excellent. Food in the "free"" restaurants was only average. Not very tasty and somewhat limited menu. My wife is a vegetarian and she did not find too many items to her liking. The Supervisor in the restaurant did try to arrange for Indian vegetarian food for her but the quality was not great. The food stations on the 15th deck (Garden Cafe) were a bit chaotically arranged. Soup station next to Ice Cream station! Food items on port side were sometimes different from those on the starboard side. We, however liked the "dine any time" option. On board "free" entertainment and shows were not up to standards on other cruise lines we have been on. Library had very limited selection of books and restricted hours. We found the service staff generally respectful and helpful. Our cruise had to skip Stockholm because of bad weather which was disappointing. However we realize this is a normal hazard of cruising (it has happened to us before). We will consider Norwegian again for future cruises depending upon timing, cost and available itineraries.
