Regal Princess Cruise Review by Lisacarolj
- Sail Date: August 2018
- Destination: Transatlantic
- Cabin Type: Mini-Suite with Balcony
This was the largest ship we have sailed on which made the Horizon dining area seem quite busy but I enjoyed many of the other dining options (Alfredo's Pizza, Sushi bar, International Cafe, dining rooms). For having so many people, the service still felt warm and personal which was great.
Great entertainment and lots of variety. The one disappointment was not having a large walking/running deck that went all the way around the ship but everything else was great. The embarkation was the very best and quickest I have had on any ship on any cruise line. Super impressive and easy which was a great start to the trip.
I have never before needed medical service on a ship. I didn't this time but two in our party did and it was efficient, affordable and so comforting to have, especially with some elderly travelers in our party.

BerlinLong train ride but nice. It would be nice to have a little guided walking tour once you get to Berlin but there is lots to see.View All 12,260 Berlin Cruise Port Reviews

CopenhagenWe started our trip here so had three days before the cruise to explore. Take a canal tour and just wander the streets.View All 1,013 Copenhagen Cruise Port Reviews

HelsinkiFabulous city! Go to the churches and visit the open market if it's there when you're in port. Beautiful fruits, foods, and artisans. Helsinki is a beautiful city. Easy to walk around. Great food and shopping. Easy walk from the ship and you'll see a lot.View All 785 Helsinki Cruise Port Reviews

OsloWe rented bikes on our own in town because the ship bike tour was full. This was great! So easy to walk to town from where the ship is docked. Don't miss the world's largest sculpture garden. You can bike to all of the great sights in 4-5 hours. So much fun!View All 345 Oslo Cruise Port Reviews
