So we were looking for a quick getaway and happened upon this cruise, got a great deal. As it got closer, we were reading other reviews on this site and got really nervous. However, we needn’t have worried!! Everything about this trip was great. We had a Junior suite, so not sure if that had anything to do with it, but our Embarkation was the easiest we’ve come across in over 10 cruises. Disembarkation was also very smooth, although we had another excursion planned in Miami so that may have helped as well. We enjoyed the food, the entertainment, and the excursions. The only downside was that on day 2, a shipmate apparently vomited in the pool amd the pool was closed for probably 48 hours while they drained and cleaned it. We had planned to stay on the ship and enjoy the pool while docked in Nassau (been there multiple times) but the pool was shut down, so that was disappointing. The fan in our bathroom did not work which was really not a problem until we took showers too closely together and set the fire alarm off with the steam. The fire crew was very nice :) the Blue Iguana Cantina was fantastic, breakfast is served out there in the mornings as well, so instead of fighting the crowd in the big buffet, we ate by the pool every morning. The shows were all very, very good!!! They do not advertise the content of the shows, so go to them all so you don’t miss anything! One of the shows was 70’s era music and it was fabulous. Half Moon Cay was AMAZING, we booked a 9:00 excursion (horseback riding) so were first off the ship and able to secure beach chairs no problem. Half Moon Cay easily the best stop on this cruise, hands down. All in all, we were not disappointed at all. No smell that I’d read about in other reviews (believe me, i would have noticed!) the food was great, never met a steward/waiter etc that wasn’t smiling and greeting me. Dining staff greeted us by name and knew exactly my preferences by dinner #2. Same service I’d experienced on Royal Caribbean, just a more casual atmosphere. Loved every minute!!

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Cabin was clean and comfortable, missing some lightbulbs and fan in bathroom not functional. Balcony was smaller than previously experienced but worked just fine.

Miami

If you like art deco buildings and cuban cigars, this is for you!

Grand Turk

excellent time!! If you get offended watching people overindulge in rum punch and have a great time ...this is not for you.
