Good cruise, but no better than the competition. Expensive wine!

No real complaints, comparable to P&O and royal carrabian, but with all the "white star" service promotion we expected Cunard to be better! Not the case here. At this level I expect good service and high quality food and entertainment. Yes it was good, but no better than other Cruise lines. I was expecting this to be another step up and it wasn't. We didn't feel looked after as much either. The quality of service is certainly high. But P&O look after their passengers better with more personal care and the food was definitely better on royal carrabian. One definatate complaint is the price of the wine and service charge. This is outrageous with 2 large glasses of the cheaper wine costing $32 and a bottle just over $40! The average age of passengers is quite high with the majority over 60. We didn't find this an issue and enjoyed their company but some younger people my find Cunard too stuffy.
