The drought affected the Elbe river so the ship did not move. The crew was excellent, though. The food was very good, way above average. The tours including Worliz & Fredrich the Great, Wittenberg & Martin Luther’s history ( although guide Stephanie was poorly engaged and lacked enthusiasm), Meissen and the porcelain factory, and Dresden’s various museums and churches were outstanding. Prague was beautiful and the tours were nice. The excessive heat made it difficult for all involved, however the weather was not controllable. We wish to thank the staff and crew of Viking for making a difficult trip fun and enjoyable despite the heat and unnavigable waters of the Elbe river. I have been recommending this trip to others already, even considering the heat and low water preventing the movement of the boats.

Devin Kennedy was a blessing. He was extremely helpful and totally engaged with the guests. His outstanding effort was above the chart.
