Going on a river cruise was just a dream that my husband and I shared. We had been on more than a half dozen ocean cruises and looked forward to this new experience. I loved having the excursions as well as drinks included in our price. I enjoyed getting to know the other passengers and was really able to get to know many with such a small number of passengers. I really liked being welcomed up in the wheelhouse at anytime to ask questions and learn about the ship. We had a group of ten that traveled together and we were always able to sit together and when a few of us wanted massages, the crew set up appointments as well as figured out transportation for us as well. Cabins were very clean and we still talk about how luxurious the towels were. Service and food was wonderful with lots of attentiveness. Already on my radar is going up the St Lawrence in Canada as well as a Scandinavian cruise.
