This was our first Viking cruise and we will go on more. Viking cruises are expensive but worth every $$ because every day includes an excursion and the food was good and overall experience of being on a smaller ship was excellent. The included excursions were excellent and the addl. optional excursions were well priced and very good. The cruise Director and staff were all excellent. I can not think of one complaint. The ship was modern, tastefully and attractively decorated (no gaudy decorating). Viking even handled are air, transfers, and hotels for optional pre/post cruise, everything was handled top notch.
This was a small ship river cruise so their was no fitness room or spa or theater. It would have been nice to have a fitness room. However, I didn’t miss the theater, every evening, there was music, dancing, trivia contests, etc. available for entertainment.
You will no regret spending the extra $$ for a Viking cruise.
As expected, the cabin was small but we spent very little time in our cabin and their was suffice to space to put away all of our clothes and toiletries. Also, the cabin was attended to at least twice a day.
We walked through strauddsburg on our own,
