Loved our cruise but did not like lay out of cruise ship. Having to walk thru Casino maze to get to theater is crazy and just wrong. They don’t even lay out clear path way. You have to dodge a lot of chairs and others. Never saw this on any other ship. Promenade shows are just not well done and it’s not the right venue. Royal has messed up Promedade by putting large Kiosks in the middle blocking and and taking up square footage. Playing jazz from a balcony looking down on the Promedade isn’t good. Place the entertainment and the shows in a venue where people can see and listen and dance. Norway cruise on RCL ship layout were so much better. Dancers for 70 show didn’t even come down to Promedade. 80s show - no dancers at all. It’s not a good venue. Too blocked off. No need for a car in the middle. No need to block with photographers but it’s all about the money. Ps Billy Joel show would have been even better if he did another set for second show. Understand they didn’t have time to rehearse. Too bad. Waffles/food sometimes weren’t hot in buffet. Minor complaint over all. Again loved our cruise overall.
