First Princess Cruise and I was extremely disappointed compared to other cruise lines. I had always thought that Princess was just a cut above the rest but found that their cruises are just the bare minimum in service and performance.

First, let me explain that I have been on many other lines before and have paid less for more service and fun. This ships average passenger age was 60+ and quite annoying at times. I have a family and the last thing I need is a bunch of grouchy, complaining, senior citizens around me on vacation. Not all, mind you, but there were enough to make the trip annoying. NCL and Carnival attract a much younger and vibrant crowd. On this ship, the Skywalker Lounge Disco wasn't even opened most of the time.

The ships entertainment was really sub-par with only four singers and two of them were grossly off-key most of the time. They highlighted boring themes such as old Broadway tunes and 30's regalia.
