This cruise aboard Emerald Sky, Budapest to Amsterdam was beyond our wildest expectations. We'd certainly consider taking this cruise again. The organization had to overcome some exceptional circumstances, which they did magnificently. The crew were friendly, courteous and professional, non more so thenwhen dining or wining.Shore excursions were well planned with excellent guides, also allowing some free time. The Emerald Sky itself could not be faulted. We'd suggest allowing yourself a few days in Budapest before embarkation to allow exploration of this wonderful city. A friendly greeting (or farewell) was afforded by the duty crew each time we entered or left the Emerald Sky, who at all times had their 'guests' welfare as their major concern. The tour director also did a magnificent job keeping us right up to date and informing us of the highlights that we could expect in each port visited.We'd recommend Emerald's 'Splendours of Europe' cruise to anyone and have done so to friends and relatives.
