We chose this cruise because of its destination, Bermuda. Two days prior to the cruise departure date we were notified that due to the predicted hurricane Florence the route would be changed to dock at Port Canaveral, the NCL beach island in the Bahamas, and at Nassau. We contacted NCL and requested changing our reservation to a Spring 2019 trip to Bermuda. They rejected that idea. We boarded the ship in New York and departed to Florida sailing south to be ahead of the storm. We did not leave the ship which docked around 1:00 PM. The ship then traveled to the NCL beach island. Passengers were shuttled to the island on small boats - very crowded. We did not leave the boat at this stop. The beach has no shade unless you rent an umbrella or a cabana. Once we left the island the Captain informed us that we would not stop at Nassau but would proceed directly to New York to insure the ship was back as scheduled. We spent 7 days on the ship. NCL has not offered any compensation for the cruise to nowhere.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

The cabin was average, very clean and well cared for by cabin staff. The bathroom/shower were very nice and good sized.
