Sailed on Summit August 26th 2018 to Bermuda. The overall experience was average. The buffet definitely could use more food choices- it appears very big but its the same food repeated. The food in dining room was definitely better, but again it was very average. The service on the Summit was good, as the staff is so professional that they don't even smile- its very military. My biggest issue was the lay out of the pool deck and pools. The 2 pools were small and had an above ground appearance. I spent most of my time in the indoor spa pool- that was a better pool and doesn't allow kids under 17yrs old.
There is limited entertainment and shows are at weird times- 7pm and 9pm so have to always rush- why the 9pm show wasn't at 10pm made little sense.
They had an outside movie theater that needs some cover- how are u suppose to see a movie screen in the sun! By day 7, few people on the boat even knew the movie theater existed! If you can get a cheap price, take this cruise. Otherwise, opt for a different experience, as I enjoyed my week on this ship but would NEVER go back on it- left me with no desire to return...
The room was typical for any cruise. Nothing special and nothing wrong- clean, small room
