The Medallion Program was rolled out when we boarded the ship, maybe on final test, but the results were life changing for frequent cruisers! For Elite and Platinum cruisers, unlimited internet was provided! The staff said this was temporary, but if Princess will continue with the program, it would definitely tip the scales toward Princess in cruise selection. Each room had an access point, and the internet was blazing fast the ENTIRE cruise. It was unbelievable! We were video chatting, streaming Netflix, watching ballgames, etc-day and night-port and sea days. Also, the room keys were personalized medallion disks-it was so handy to have your stateroom door automatically unlocked upon your approach with the medallion. So far, they were all the same color, but I understand Princess is going to customize by loyalty in the future. Also, there are electronic bulletin boards throughout that were great fun. Finally, ordering breakfast and checking my account balance electronically was super easy and efficient. Princess, it has taken a while on the roll out, but congratulations. I think you have a winner!
